Touch and his wife are brilliant. They make use of the difficulty, not all permits are given they are still building up the place. There is no beach but a very cool private jetty which is turned into a super romantic dining location in the evening. A nice shallow beach is just 1 minute walk at the neighbouring hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dahlia. It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

Omg - Where do I start? Sam is lovely! The house is lovely! The village is lovely! This whole island is lovely!! The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. But the downside is that you have to say goodbye to them ♥️

Thanks scott and pauline !!! what a great place !!!!! highly recommend staying at on the rocks, the tipi tents were excellent !!!! best sunset views on the island.......great night time bbq !!!! great people !!!! tipis were huge could stand up in them.....fan, light, full double mattress,,,comfy pillows...great nights sleep, quiet in the nature !!!! great showers and bathrooms ...soooo clean !!!! will defoooo be back...thanks scott for a great stay !!!!!!

I extended my 3-night stay by another night here. Honestly, you could easily stay for at least a month. Tasha and Kirsten’s hospitality, the location being a paradise, the wooden house I stayed in, and its incredible comfort all made me feel right at home. The place has a plant-based kitchen, and they’re currently experimenting with new flavors. My favorite was the Scrambled Tofu Wrap! It was amazing—I practically licked my fingers. The bar’s cocktails are also excellent. You can watch the landscape from the bar through the sea and the trees! This is a perfect spot for vegan and vegetarian friends to stay at a very reasonable price while enjoying the peace of the island. There are also some small animal friends like cats and dogs around. In the evenings, there’s even a larger lizard buddy who walks along the upper beams of the bar, looking around. This place is truly wonderful—definitely visit!

We loved our time at Sara resort. Beautiful pool with lovely relaxing cabanas. Good food. Comfy beds. Beach BBQ great, as was fire show and snorkelling with bio-luminescent plankton.

Amazing location, bungalow was on the beach in the middle of trees. There is a terrasse with a direct view on the beach, and the beach is remote and quiet. Service is great, we’ve been picked up at the ferry terminal directly.

Loved everything about our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable and steps away from the beach. The staff were so nice and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious. I hope I get to come back here. Leaving was sad.

Very nice and friendly staff and more generally really good service. The location is perfect and so is the restaurant offering great food (local and western). I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this calm and nice place to couples, friends and solo travelers

    Fabulous room on the beach with sea view! Thanks for the upgrade. Fabulous pool - nice and large with beach bar. I needed to book a bus to Phnom Penh after my stay and the hotel organised it and it all worked very well with an east transfer from the port. Great location and lovely hotel dog!

    The beach, the staff, and the restaurant made out of bamboo are really amazing! I had the best introduction and the most friendly welcome I have ever had! They have some really cute cats and one lovely dog. The staff even invited me to a Khmer birthday party! To have the opportunity to experience something like that was amazing as well! I really enjoyed it.

    One of the nicest accommodations I’ve ever been to! Been here last year already and came back to enjoy the beach and the amazing food again. Very welcoming staff, they even invited me to a Khmer birthday party, it’s been so much fun! The ocean is right in front, amazing view from the restaurant. They play such good music all day. The dorm is super cozy and clean, slept really well. snorkel equipment, beach mats and water is for free. Cuddly cats and a cute dog were around. I would recommend this place 100%, I’m gonna come back!

    The location was fantastic, Saracen bay was fun and beautiful. The room was really comfortable and clean. The restaurant and bar was great value for money. The staff were all fantastic. Loved dinner on the beach with the fire show. Adored the resort dog Jenny and the pool area. The hotel transfers were easy and complimentary.
