The set up was beautiful with a really high attention to detail. The showers were the highest quality, nothing like campsite facilities. The shared areas were stunning. The tent was warm and cosy and everything you could wish for was provided. The kitchen has full cooking facilities: 2 ovens, 2 hot plates, microwave, fridge and all pots and pans.

Self check in made our arrival flexible and comfortable (we arrived at 23). The cottage is clean and warm and in well located to reach the Seljalamdsfoss waterfalls. It is also super silent since the other cottages are far. Due to the darkness, it is also a great position to see the aurora: we had a great view!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so for me, this was the best accommodation we had in Iceland. Sure enough, I am aware that not everybody will find this perfect, but for us it was. In fact, I liked it so much that now I want to build my own cottage at home :)
