really chill and friendly vibes - lovely people. super easy to meet other travelers. ended up staying here three times between road trips and treks around Ladakh - felt very secure leaving my big luggage behind. Heart and Heaven Homestay was like a home from the first moment. The location is great, just one street away from the main market, yet on a quiet side street, making it perfect for rest and relaxation. The homestay is very stylish, everything is clean, the rooms are huge and comfortable, the furniture is beautiful. The whole place has a really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, it was just so good to come back here. The rooftop terrace with the full panorama is simply breathtaking, the most beautiful view you can imagine. But what really makes this place special are the wonderful people who run it. Not only are they super nice, funny, helpful, and flexible, but they also have a special ability to build community. The rooftop terrace has been the scene of countless deep conversations, big laughs, and cool music. Still smiling if I think back, full of amazing memories. :) Thank you for everything, hope to see you again somewhere, sometime.

Very clean spacious rooms. Amazing staff (shout out to manager Naman, and head waiter Ravi). Nothing was too much trouble. We ended up staying for a week after our son got altitude sickness. The guys had oxygen on hand, and knew exactly what to do. In house food is amazing. Location a short walk to main bazaar, but very quiet with views to Stok Kangri.

We stayed for 6 nights in this beautiful resort. A quiet place in a beautiful garden with astonishing views of the mountains. The room (Langmar) was spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. It woold have been perfect if there was a safety deposit box in the room. The breakfast was good and the lunch also with very reasonable prices. The staff was outstanding and doing everything to make our stay great. Especially the staff in the restaurant. The Wifi in the room was very good. It was a great stay and we recommend this place absolutely.

I recently stayed at Zaltak Guesthouse and Hostel, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Absolutely lovely place. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the owners are very kind. You get nice tasty breakfast. It’s peaceful and quiet there. Close to beautiful Shanti Stupa and a wss as walking distance to the main bazar. I will be back for sure.
