Uni and his families were amazing guest, always kind and friendly and ready to give advices, tell good anecdotes and give delicious food and marvellous tour. Uni is funny and smart and he was great in making us feel like at home. it was also great to be able to know a lot about keralas costumes through him and his funny stories.

I was supposed to stay a week but I stayed a month. The property looks even nicer than in the pictures, I’ve biked a lot around the island and this seems to be the best homestay around. Garden is cute and the whole thing is literally 5 meters from river. Food is really good (I had 3 meals per day cooked for me). The best part, though, is the staff who could not be friendlier, more accommodating and helpful, e.g. when I said I’d like to see monkeys, they called someone the same moment and arranged to take me to a temple the following day. Totally recommend.

Sajjayam's family are awesome people. They made my two days at their home a remarkable experience. Always helpful, always ready to give good advice or to assist with my queries. The house is clean, the room I stayed in is spacious, and I had my own bathroom. The mother'cooking was really outstanding. Every meal was a pleasant surprise, an introduction to South Indian and Munro's cooking. Sajjayam's took me around the island on his bike, and suggested activities (Koivila ferry, boating, walks) to enrich my experience of Munro island. He knows his island very well and is well attuned to his visitors' needs. I was also very fond of my conversations with Kartika, the family's daughter. In short, I can only recommend this homestay for a rewarding two days' rest, and an enriching experience in Kerala's backwaters.

This place is so wonderful. I loved everything! The room, the garden, the island vibe. And Anjana & Ajith are the nicest people, very big heart and helpful in everything. I had a wonderful stay at this place! The location was perfect, close to thiruvalla town , and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The apartment itself was clean, well-decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Host was very responsive and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting this place.
