This is a true guesthouse, visitors are welcome guests in a private home, and the host is attentive and generous with his hospitality, happy to offer suggestions on visits, restaurants, and other practical information. The parking was ample, the sitting room cosy, especially since the host would be happy to lay out a fire in the marble fireplace. My room was large and my dog was welcome. I highly recommend this place as a base for excursions to most of Ireland due to the flexibility of the host and excellent access to the major motorways.

Wonderfull place. Lodge are very well equiped. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfect to travel with familly. Beds are very confortable. The owner was very nice with us and give us some food for breakafast.

The accomodation was really beautiful and in a quiet place but really close to where we needed to be. It had all the little luxuries of a home from home, dishwasher, washing machine, toiletries, coffee machine, patios with barbecue facilities, wifi and very spacious. The host was very generous and left bread, butter, fresh eggs and tea and coffee for us on arrival. They even baked a delicious apple cake for us. Definitely recommend and will return.

Loved the location, the charm and details in the decor, the cosy log burner, flower arrangement, bookshelves stacked, it felt like a homely country cottage, very quaint, a beautiful place to stay. Helen was very nice and the extras that were provided were lovely to receive, wine, chocolates, housecoats, slippers, eggs bread and milk, a lovely reception, and greatly appreciated. We'd love to return!

It was so cosy and clean. It had everything you could need. A real home away from home.There was plenty of logs for the stove inside, gas hob, instax camera to take pictures and bored games. It was so beautiful and the walk was gorgeous around the property aswell.
