I had a truly wonderful time. The family is absolutely lovely, warm, kind, and always willing to help. The food was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared, using local ingredients, every meal felt nourishing and made with love. The location is a bit remote, but still within reasonable distance from the beach and local shops. I really had the best time ever in Stay Together homestay. I even extended my stay with one night as I was feeling sooo good there and I didn’t want to leave. :-) The room was everything I could hope for and even more : super clean, quiet, very comfortable. I slept so well ! The homestay is in the middle of nature and it is super relaxing. I took two different tours : the one around the ricefields, waterfalls and black monkeys with Harry who knows sooo many things and the second one visiting the handcrafts villages around and I recommend you to do both to dive into the Indonesian culture with very kind people. Ika, Egis and their daughters are the best hosts ever. I felt like as was part of the family. 🧡 I even participated to the coconut fabrication with the women of the family, which was super interesting. Now let’s talk about the food : it’s literally the best Indonesian food I’ve eaten in the past 5 weeks. Ika is such a great cook and the price is really affordable. Thank you for everything, I will miss you !

Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

The staff was amazing, we really felt like home and family. They have a restaurant inside and the food is delicious. We were in the local bungalow and really enjoyed the authenticity and the view. The room was comfortable and clean, good wifi. No AC but not necessary as it gets colder during the night. Our host also organises guided tour with Opik to see the rice fields, waterfalls, spices etc. We loved that tour as Opik was speaking english super well, has a lot of knowledge and was willing to share do much

Fantastic location in individual huts amongst the rice terraces, vegetable fields and palm trees. Early morning call to prayer filled the valley adding to the overall experience. Better still was the service and eco-tour provided by the family and his assistants. They were attentive, informative and pridefully shared their village life to us. Just book this place, you wont regret it.

We loved staying with Anya. His family was welcoming and provided delicious food. We were able to walk directly from his homestay to all the major attractions in the town. Our highlight was the guided tour with Anya which he provided for a modest additional fee - he was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Great accommodation, in a fantastic location. The views were amazing . We were asked to join family for evening meal which we did on both nights . Amazing food , amazing company. On the second night we had a sing along . Walking tour was amazing , our guide was brilliant, kind and funny . We loved the monkey forest and learning about how rice grows . We stopped for lunch delicious 😋 . Our stay here was definitely a highlight of our 3 week trip . You will not find friendlier or kinder people than this family. They organised pick up and transfer.
