Excellent little boutique winery, with fabulous staff including a few who spoke great English which helped. The wine is super yummy and awesome food both dinner and breakfast. Very welcoming to families with little kids, who adored the puppy labradors. What a charming place. New modern and amazing bed. We really appreciated the dedication of Armaz and his insight into the wine, place and general tourist advice, a sincere young man who helps make Sazano Winery great .

Gregori and his parents are lovely people who shared their home with us. Gregori speaks English and showed us his little farm. He gave us travel recommendations. We enjoyed plenty of homemade delicious food (best Khatchapuri Georgias) and wine. It is a wonderful place to relax and come in touch with Georgian life in the countryside. The owner is such a lovely lady, it was amazing meeting her and her cooking was definitely worth coming back for! If you stay at Villa Gelati make sure you have also dinner at the property as the home made food is so worth it!! The rooms are exactly as per expectations , in a very quiet environment and walking distance to the monastery! We were travelling with our 18 months old daughter and all was fine!
