The owner is such a lovely lady, it was amazing meeting her and her cooking was definitely worth coming back for! If you stay at Villa Gelati make sure you have also dinner at the property as the home made food is so worth it!! The rooms are exactly as per expectations , in a very quiet environment and walking distance to the monastery! We were travelling with our 18 months old daughter and all was fine!

This is the gold standard on how an agro guesthouse should be run. This whole place gives you an experience of Georgian hospitality in the countryside. The location is very rural with farm animals visiting. It’s very quiet at night (which is unusual for Georgia). The ladies that run the place are very warm and will do everything to make sure you feel comfortable. We had breakfast twice and dinner with wine twice - all the food was absolutely amazing and there is no way you can eat it all. On one night we had live music and on both nights we were lucky as Maja (the owner) hosted a group of German choir who sang beautiful Georgian music - it was an unforgettable experience. The room was very clean and smelled of freshness with a comfortable bed. You will hear people walking on floor upstairs but it didn’t bother us. To sum it up: it’s a rural guesthouse with a warm Georgian atmosphere, excellent food and hospitality on a top level. Best suited for people who like the countryside and a quiet location. If we ever visit that area again we will definitely stay there.

If you decide to choose this house - you better do it fast, it's a real hidden gem for this low of a price. Despite not having that many reviews yet, the place is absolutely wonderful and hosts are ready to do everything to make your stay here as pleasant as possible. Photos don't do justice to this place and it was the first time in my life when the reality was much better than expected. As a bonus you'll have a chance to become friends with the most awesome and wise dog ever. :) Keti and Gio, once again thank you so much and tell Bobby that we'll be back! 💚

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Newport Hotel Kutaisi, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and were always ready to help with any request. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, just a short walk from Kutaisi’s main attractions and shops. The restaurant in Newport Hotel was amazing. They have the best food in the area. Wonderful hotel! Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The view from the room was absolutely stunning — I couldn’t stop admiring it. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Everything was over the top! Fabulous design (do not listen to people who say that the interior is dark, they have to learn about new tendencies in design). The manager was always there whenever we needed help or advices concerning Georgia and its incredible wines. The music played in the common area was very good too. I'm telling you, everything was perfect! I recommend 1000%

It's a new place in Kutaisi and - currently - the absolute best value for money in town! If you'd like to stay at a place that is definitely on the higher end on the quality spectrum but still pay a very decent money for it - Central Hotel Kutaisi is your best choice. It's superbly located (literally 2 mins walk from the main square, theater, shops, bars and restaurants), in a beautifully refurbished old building, it's very aesthetic inside, with everything still smelling of freshness and cleanliness. The beds are comfy, there actually IS a lot of storage in the rooms so you don't stumble upon your own stuff while it's neatly stored, there's fridge and a bathrobe in every room as a nice touch. BONUS: ask the reception for their home-made wine. I have not had any better in the whole Georgia, when it comes to whites. We simply loved the place and whenever we're back in Kutaisi - we will be beck in Central for sure!

Great young owners, hospitality management is their passion. Every morning Mari with housban prepared extremely big breakfast. All food was delicious, most prepared by Mari. Mari's housband took us at 1.30 am from the airport. As we were 5, he met us with friend with second car. Rooms and dining room are comfortable and clean, wifi works perfect. I recommend Memory Basket with all my heart for all reasons, but most important for commitment to a job and open to people the owners. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR AMAZING HOSPITALITY.
