We had a great sized room and spacious ensuite, both had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and a range of pillows. There was even a little box of treats for us to have with our cuppa in the room. The staff were very friendly, bright, happy and super helpful. Nothing was ever any trouble. We ate in the first night and loved our meals, so continued to do so throughout our stay and found everything really nice. We ordered our breakfast from the menu and it was lovely with a generous serve. Staff were able to give us Aussies tips on questions asked about the town and places to visit and get around. Hope to come back one day soon.

The aesthetic nature of the hotel drew us in right from the start. The room were a comfortable bijou size, enough room to get around while encapsulating the pokey nature of old British buildings. The room was well decorated and well lit. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the digital clock on the bedside table was a lovely added touch. The soaps in the bathroom were beautiful and very fragrant. There was a safe provided, free of charge, for valuables. This was located in a roomy wardrobe that also included bathrobes, extra pillows, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. There was an electric heater in the room if needed but we didn't!

Holford Arms was the pest pub experience I have had in the UK. My partner and I chose it on spec before leaving Australia, based on location, price and what we could see from the pix. Beds and brekky were brilliant - 11/10. The hosts, Victoria and Pete, and all of the bar and table staff were so welcoming, attentive and informative. The locals were exceptionally friendly and wow! what stories. The beers were brilliant - it's an independent pub; always a big plus.

Location was excellent. Few minutes walk to Tetbury town centre. Breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day. Rooms were lovely and the house was fab. Couldn’t fault it as catered for all our needs. The dogs loved it too. Children enjoyed it even more especially hide and seek in the house. Highly recommend.

The location of the cottage was brilliant, in a gorgeous and quiet part of the Cotswolds. Highgrove is just down the road and the cottage is opposite the Westonbirt National Aboretum. The cottage offers every comfort of a small home including Netflix, car parking and the most wonderful hot spa outdoors!

    Location great. Dinners in Jack Hare’s bar excellent. Efficient staff and service. Especially pleasant was the young Australian waiter who served us most nights. Lovely guy. We wish him well on his further travels. Dog friendly throughout our stay which was lovely. Silk wood access room is a good size for two people and a big dog. Good shower, excellent large towels and amenities.

    We were looking for a dog friendly stopover on our way to Cornwall from Yorkshire. it was perfect, from the dog friendly bar with excellent food, a lovely room in a cottage dedicated to dogs, beautiful garden & amazing breakfast, the dog was even catered for. Really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely return.

    Room was spacious and clean and very tasteful decor and furniture, excellent breakfast, very good evening meal and value for money. Hotel provide a bed and food/water bowls for our little dog to use (not used as we always take our pet's own doggie bed and bowls when travelling). Good parking facility at rear of hotel. Delightful small garden at rear. Have already booked a return for 2023.
