The hotel very much exceeded our expectations. Staff were some of the best we have encountered in the UK. Staff all very friendly, efficient, welcoming and competent. Swimming pool and facilities very nice. Breakfast is excellent, served in a beautiful room. Lounge is very nice to sit for a drink even with high prices of drinks.

Karolyn and Christoph are amazing hosts. The rooms were lovely and very cozy. As we arrived, they invited us in their guest room with a fireplace and a bar. There was a breakfast buffet as well as many selectable additional options. We can totally recommend a stay at their place.

Had a lovely stay at the Strathburn Hotel, staff were lovely and friendly, food was exceptionally good, large portions so no one would ever leave feeling hungry!!! Our pet friendly room was nice, very clean and warm. Location is great, 10 minute walk into town centre. Will definitely be back.

Great welcome from the staff, who maintained there friendly but professional manner throughout our stay, in an extremely busy period due to storm Gerrit. The hotel room was very comfortable and the food was excellent,(cooked to order by only one chef). The hotel was full and so was the resturant. The hotel is pet friendly and made our dog welcome too. Loads of parking and nice park opposite to walk the dog.

Absolutely beautiful building, so incredibly dog friendly and the staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating and friendly. They left cakes and petals with it being our wedding trip which was so so sweet. Dog treats too!

we were allocated a studio room which was accessible from the rear of the hotel, was good decor and dog friendly! on site restaurant food was excellent and the portions substantial Staff were very helpful and accommodating Would happily use again
