Great spot, right at the beach. You can hear the waves at night. Ana and Gio are great hosts. They gave us nice advice about things to do. The co-living in the house went very smooth. The bed was very big and comfortabel. We slept downstairs. Ana was so kind to bring some forgotten clothes all the way to San Isidro. Thank you both so much :). Everything! This lodge is paradise: beautiful nature, delicious food, in the midst of the jungle, at an amazing beach, the kindest hosts, on the Drake Trail which is one of the best hikings you will find.

We absolutely loved everything here! It was the best of the best of our stays in Costa Rica! It is ran by a local family with great hospitality, Rafa and Esther. We loved the peace & quiet, leash greenery around, the food cooked by Esther, the animals around, the welcoming atmosphere. Take the full board option, it is fully worth it! The cabin had a big porched with roof over it, so you can enjoy the outside also if it rains. There were so many animals to admire from there! Scarlet macaws, two kinds of toucans, soo many birds, also capuchin & spider monkey. There is also a 3 toed sloth on a tree at their place! The beach is just 100m away. They will show you which part is safe for swimming. Agujitas is 1:30hr trek away via San Josecito trail. We arranged our boat in and out from/to Sierpe plus a day trip to Corcovado park with a great local guide via them. The fan in our room was strong and we used it on a minimal volume during the night, so AC is not needed. There wifi was strong. There is really nothing to complain about. We stayed there for 5 nights and felt we could have stayed more.

Very pretty, comfortable, quiet, perfectly clean and beautifully decorated accommodation. The view of the sea and the birds is pleasant and I slept very well. The house is directly in the jungle with a wonderful view on the Sierpe forest. When the sky is clear it’s possible to see the Pacific. The House has everything you need to cook at home. Be aware that the place is accessible only by car and you need to take a boot, therefore it is suggested to organise your grocery before (in Palmar Norte where there is also the last available ATM). In case you would like to have an amazing dinner, Simone can prepare dinner for you. Simone organised for us a very nice tour in the Mangrove systems which was really worth it as we saw many wild fauna!

Incredibly beautiful location with a jungle feel right on the beach. The Amaya family and everyone involved are kind and very well organized - not used to such all-round service when traveling, we felt truly spoiled.
