The room turned out too be a double-floor maisonette, complete with kitchen and large bedroom. I also love the smell of the local Arvenholz, from the various wooden furniture elements and air fresheners.

Beautifully decorated to retain the historic feel Very peaceful (no TV, limited WiFi) Friendly staff Really excellent cooking, healthy and very tasty; we ate dinner every night, which hadn't been our plan, with fresh herbs from the garden behind the hotel Breakfast was great too, perfect selection of good quality food: we thought the eggs had unusually "hard shells" which we think is a sign of healthy well-cared for chickens 😊

    The house is charming, nicely restored and well kept. The garden is an absolute plus. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside every day. Great view and nice seating plus bbq. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is spacious and the beds are comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy.
