Everything was perfect. An idyllic challet in the middle od the woods, 10 minutes’ drive from Tamsweg center. The room was wonderful for a short stay, very clean and stylish. Exactly as presented in the photos of the property. It was warm and cosy with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountain, trees and snow. You can borrow a sleigh for free and enjoy with your children for there is a lot of snow in winter. The breakfast was delicious. The personnel is very professional and a pleasure to interact with. There is no GSM signal or WiFi so it’s good to have some books and board-games with you. Great for screen-free time. I highly recommend it and I certainly wish to return. Thank you for a wonderful time both parents and children enjoyed it so much!

The beds are really comfortable, breakfast is varied, and the staff are nice. The restaurant is also good if you want to eat dinner there. We had the family apartment which is actually really big and spacious too. Every room had its own TV.

Der Thomataler Wirt is a charming place located in the small Austrian village of Thomatal. Everything was charming and authentic, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are large, clean and warm. We had a very nice ski vacation, staying in this apartment, even more that we expected. Apartment was very clean, spacious, with comfortable beds, nice furnished, modern bathroom, modern kitchen, everything you need. If you go for ski, in the building there is a heated room where you can store your equipment. Also there is a small infrared sauna, that can be used. There is a small shop if you cross the street. The host is nice, and ready to help if you need something. Overall very good choice for our family, very good value for money..

    Beautiful and extra clean apartment. Peaceful and very quiet area. Kitchen is well equipped. Insanely comfy bed. Very dog friendly! The host is super helpful and kind, she kept checking with us if we need anything. Parking spot is covered and is right in front of the accommodation. Highly recommend to anyone looking to getaway from busy city life for few days.
