Fabulous location on the river, gloriously quiet part of it, even in summer, and really nice hotel. It’s not luxury old skool feel, it’s nice standard modern feel. One of the nicest locations I’ve ever stayed.

A recently renovated guest house located in Wesenufer, Gasthof zum Schiffmeister features a bar. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.

I’ve stayed here before during my Danube cycling trips, and this time it was even better! The new management has done a fantastic job. The rooms are newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they really made us feel welcome and went out of their way to assist. It’s a perfect stop for cyclists!

The staff were super helpful and friendly (they even helped us find some clothes we forgot and sent it to our next hotel!). The hotel has gorgeous views over the countryside and the food is really fresh and locally grown. The Spa was great to relax in and stayed open until 9pm. They also provided a garage space for us to park our bikes, which was really handy for the Danube River Way.

Hotel Schröckmeyer Kastner in Neufelden: A Gem in the Mühlviertel! I recently had a stay at the Hotel Schröckmeyer Kastner in Neufelden that was straight fire. From the moment I stepped in, I felt mad welcome and appreciated. The staff was always super friendly and helpful, and you could tell that they put a lot of love into everything they did. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the lake that was off the charts. In the morning, I enjoyed a breakfast that was hella bomb and had everything you could ever want. One thing that really stood out was the location of the hotel. It's right in the middle of everything, with a bank, a hair salon, a tobacco shop, and a bunch of other stores all within walking distance. It was super convenient for getting everything I needed.
