In general, perfectly designed. In my bathroom there was a wall with stones that were covered with green plant (moss?) which looked extremely fresh and made it feel even more close to nature (oops, didn’t take a pic). Breakfast and dinner were amazing, all fresh and tasty. If you go to Yeghegis specifically for animal watching and birdwatching, ask the host to give the tips and maybe even help early morning 6am - they are all in the big rock in front of the hotel area. Was great for my guests - they complained that we didn’t stay there for more nights 😅

The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. Perfect little gem on the TCT trail. The pool was fantastic and the bungalows were super comfy. Was lovely waking up to sunrise coming over the mountains. Also, a really good burger place nearby that opened last year that delivers to the campsite.
