Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Nivicë

This place is an absolute gem. You are in the middle of the mountains, with access to a small village and with all the confronts of home. The people managing the guesthouse are super nice. They provided one of the best meals we had in Albania for a very very fair price. Thank you!

Meta is in a traditional small village high up in the mountains. The road itself on which you reach Gusmar is a miracle - beautiful valleys, high rocky peaks, marvellous waterfalls, good quality asphalt and exciting hairpins. Villa Meta has its own garden offering great privacy , possibility to chill, relax and enjoy the view of surrounding mountain scenery. The place is very remote, only a few families live in the area - who are very friendly by the way - which gives you a feeling that you are out of the fast paced daily civilization rush and offers you perfect opportunity for a peaceful rest. The Nivice Canyon near Gusmar is a must to visit. The Uspoiled nature, the force of water and erosion made stunning rock creations, super high stone walls, breath taking waterfalls and Crystal clear mini lakes in which you can have a baths. The whole place is so beautiful and untouched that you only see such in the movies. We have spent two days in Nivice Canyon with family and dog, then spent an other two days visiting the Seaside near Borsh which is a 40 mins drive from Villa Meta. The road offers brilliant views, the Ionian sea is very clear, the shore is sandy or covered with small white oval rock pieces like the ones you see in Kneipp spas. To this holiday we took our Mountain Bikes with us and rode an other two days in the region on rocky singletracks, alpine roads and western-like highlands. Alltogether we stayed 6 nights in Villa Meta - which offered generous space in and outside (we were 3 plus a dog), quality furniture, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, not very fast but liveable internet & wifi. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, showed us around in the area and adviced which places to visit, how and when. They provided tons of food, home - made milk and cheese, home grown fruit and vegetables. They live in a city nearby and brought an other ton of food in the middle of the week in case we may starve🫣😊.

The location was great, literally 2 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants and parking outside. The place was decorated very tastefully, boho beach vibes and the owner was very lovely! Already recommended to my friend to stay here

The staff were amazing and very ry welcoming. The place had a very homely vibe to it. The place was very well kept and you could see a lot of effort was put on it. The mountain view was stunning, complemented by the sunny weather. We were served some homely dinner even when we asked for it late. The breakfast was definitely the best food I had this trip, with a very generous portion size (you wouldn't be able to finish it--I tried) I can't recommend it enough.

I traveled 7 different cities in Albania, most of them was major tourist cities. This hotel in Tepelenë was the best by far. You can’t even compare. Great staff, great rooms, amazing facilities. I’ll be seeing you this winter again 🇦🇱🤝

We liked everything. It s so cozy and warm this place between all the vegetation: flowers, lemon trees, olive trees. The host was very nice, served us with coffee and cake. Very clean room. We truly recommend this accomodation if you want something different, not crowded, not near the beaches. It has beautiful view over the sea.

The room with the view and the terrace was amazing! The house is in a good position and it’s very nice. The breakfast was very good and prepared for everyone at the moment. The garden for the breakfast is very nice, and the breakfast itself is very complete.
