Joy's tiny guesthouse will definitely make it into the Lonely Planet's next edition! She's just a lovely lady, will drive you around and give you a tour if she has time, she even let me put up my tent in her garden when the rooms were fully booked, and invited me to her family dinner party. I booked one night and ended up staying five nights. Rooms have their own little terraces where breakfast is served each morning. Kitchen is fully equipped and has fresh bread and eggs every day, and a few other basic groceries, including unlimited coffee and tea. Water in the shower is always hot, shower gel is provided, the towels are as fluffy as towels can be. WiFi works and you can use a washing machine free of charge. Convenient location 5 mins walking from the airport. The best value in town.

We love the location and it’s so great to be able to use a kitchen occasionally and BBQ some good Vanuatu beef! Two bedrooms so we had space and step of the patio into the lagoon. Fantastic location for seclusion and surfing. Has everything you need. Even without a car it’s only 800m walk to the main road and then you can get a local bus. We absolutely loved staying here and would highly recommend to anyone to get away from the hustle and bustle or who surfs
