We were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.

They really pay attention to details. I had one of the best nights of sleep in a bed that’s not my own there at Roam Inn, and I also had the best meal I’ve ever had at their restaurant, Tracey’s. It’s just a wonderful place, and I would not want to stay anywhere else if Roam Inn were always an option.
