Dan in particular was very helpful by providing a shuttle service for us from Hualien railway station. While this hotel is a fair way away from Hualien itself, the local area is superb. Lovely beaches, walking trails, a few good restaurants and a convenience store a short walk away. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were very cozy and had a mediterranean feel to them. Honestly it was a great couple of days spent here.

The room was huge and spotlessly clean, and although we didn't use the facilities, there was a warm and welcoming dining space downstairs. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed, using WhatsApp and Google Translate to communicate with us both before our arrival and during check-in - although we didn't expect this, it was hugely appreciated!
