The room was lovely and a traditional Thai breakfast was provided every morning along with bottles of water for the day. The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.

Very lovely homestay on a beautiful island. The family are incredibly generous and friendly. Rooms are very clean and scooters available to rent. Wifi worked great. Highly recommend you staying here! Libong Beach Resort is a 10-minute drive to Baan Prao pier. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the hotel also provides free private parking on site. Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
