The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

We decided to stop here for two nights and it was an excellent decision to catch breath in our journey through Peru. The lodge was somehow surprising, nice and cozy but very different from any place we slept so far, you have to experience it on your own, one can say it’s survival, we like it very much. Owners arranged transportation from/to Puno, boat trip was included in the lodge package as well as sightseeing of other Uros Islands with presentation of its life and culture. Not to forget, meals we had were simple but very tasteful.
