Continental breakfast was provided and it was lovely. The bathroom is private however in a small building next door to the chalet... all worked out well and we had a very comfortable night here

Gisborne is a fabulous city and Whispering Sands does it’s part, the amenities were great. Close to everything.

All rooms at the Ocean Beach Motor Lodge come with flat-screen cable TV and kitchen facilities. Each of the units has a private courtyard overlooking the Mediterranean-style complex. Our host, Caro, was super nice and gave us a great room and restaurant recommendations. Room was large and comfy. The terrace at the back of the room was a nice surprise.

Rooms were spacious, very clean. Staff were so so friendly! Wifi was great, no issues with that. About 10 min drive into the main area of Gisborne. Would definitely stay here again!
