Location is close to town but we used Tuk Tuk's to get there and back.

Leels Cottage absolutely exceeded our expectations, the cottage really is a luscious private haven and I wouldn’t change a thing. The room is so stylish and the photos don’t do it justice. The safari was absolutely amazing and Leel pulled over a couple of times to collect litter, one piece would have been particularly harmful to the wildlife, which shows his care and commitment to his job and the animals. Leel always maintained a very respectful distance to animals, which worked very much in our favour as one elephant approached us and grazed a metre from the truck. The safari breakfast made by Leel’s wonderful mum and wife was incredible, they really know how to do a picnic breakfast. The dinner we had at Leels was perfect, we could not be more impressed. 10/10 stay

The Location, The Hospitality, The Design of the Cottages, The Food : we spent 1 day here and really wanted to cancel our further plans and stay back If it wasn’t fully booked the next days! This place was absolutely amazing! The location couldn’t have been better. Right by the Safari entrance, and within minutes of arriving, we saw an elephant just across the road. It was such a cool experience. The facilities were top-notch and really well maintained. The pool was actually the perfect temperature, which is rare for hotels since they’re usually too cold. There’s also a restaurant on-site with a great selection of food. We highly recommend the Kothu! Plus, there’s a convenience store right next door in case you need any extra supplies. The rooms were beautiful with modern bathrooms, great hot water, and a lovely balcony view where we got to watch the sunset. What really made our stay special was the staff. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, treating us like VIPs. The rest of the staff was just as helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area. We’d love to come back!
