As I had to work remotely, I needed excellent Wi-Fi, and here it is truly perfect: I had six hours of video conferencing without the slightest problem. I felt at home and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful site.

Shanta and his wife did their best to make me feel welcome and taken care of - they are so kind and friendly. I also had dinner here and it was homemade and delicious. The room is simple but you have the basic conditions you need. The location is also good - even though it’s a bit far from the ruins, the way to it is by the lake, which makes up for it! There were good choices for breakfast. The lake view from the veranda was stunning with so many birds.

First of all, I'd really like to thank the host for his welcome and kindness! The guesthouse is located in a really calm area which is surrounded by nature and wildlife. The room was very spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. I was able to eat there in the evening and the meals were varied and excellent! I also enjoyed the breakfast! The host is always here when needed and takes great care of his guests. He offered night walks to see the wild animals in the area. We were also treated to a tour of the rice fields and a tasting of a fresh coconut harvested in front of us! He takes the time to chat with the guests, which is really nice! I learned a lot thanks to him :) I can't recommend staying at Ruins Villa enough!

Comfort: There was running hot water at all times, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool, even during the hotter parts of the day. Safety & Atmosphere: As a solo traveler, I felt safe and at home here. The warm environment and respectful staff really made a difference. Overall: An excellent experience. Clean, comfortable, and supported by genuinely kind staff. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Their restaurant serves amazing dishes! And staff really pays attention to your likes and dislikes.

Hotel features a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Guests can enjoy meals at the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. Unfortunately, it rained the afternoon I was there so didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but it looked great and well kept.
