I had an amazing stay at Seaware, I initially booked only for a few nights, but I ended up extending for 10 more days. Sam and his staff are great hosts they are always helpfull if you need anything, they have recently opened, so everything is brand new, and there iis also a Fish Spa on the top floor the only one in Arungambay! The rooms are spotless and spacious, and their traditional sri lankan breakfast is delicious! The location was perfect for me, the beach is one minute away, there is a mini market around the corner, and restaurants and bars are 2 mins walk, but at night it's very quite so you can rest if you go surfing in the morning. There is a nice surf break 5 mins away which Is not crowded, and you can also easily reach the Main Point surf break walking once you are at the beach, I will definetly come back next time!

Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

We loved our stay at Lucky Bay - so much so we extended for a couple more nights. Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Mohammed is a wonderful, genuine, host who goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy and check if you need anything. He kindly brought us homemade cake each day, arranged surf lessons, changed money etc - nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend Lucky Bay if you come to Arugam Bay.

Beautiful cabana’s in a quiet and well maintained garden at almost a private bay. Great airco, ice cold private fridge in the room and even a fan on the terrace. Incredible friendly staff. Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Beautiful family run hotel outside the busyness of the town. The family run hotel have super friendly staff, the food is good and reasonably priced and it was such a haven of relaxation to sit by the pool in the day. People tend to stay for slightly longer periods of time so there's a really nice community feel that doesn't feel overcrowded at all
