I felt the room is very spacious compared with the room in other hotel of the same size during my stay at Kyushu. Layout is well planned, and organized. The parking is right beside or in front of the hotel It’s very convenient if you are driving The location of the hotel is very near to many popular attractions, cafes, groceries shops and restaurants. There’s a very good ramen shop near the hotel, it’s ramen no Kurokawa, near Aso Jinja, about 10 mins drive.

The free icecream and mango pudding were also a very pleasant surprise. The decor was very nice and everything was very clean.

If you're looking for place that is a bit tucked in with good privacy but yet close enough to town, this is the place for you. The restaurant has great views of the mountain. The surroundings are quiet, sipping a coffee in the open patio is a super relaxing experience. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is very well prepared and generous, onsen is great. The photos don't do this place justice. You can't go wrong booking this place.

It also boasts a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. We booked a Japanese-style riverside villa with our own private bath — the spacious interior and beautiful outdoor views were well worth the price. There were many different types of public baths too with varying views/ambiances. Dinner and breakfast were top-notch — you can tell that they’re made of quality ingredients.

Rooms have free wired internet. BEST VIEW OF ANY HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN TO. The view of the city and bay from the hotel are absolutely glorious. The breakfast was great, with a very wide selection of both western and Japanese food.
