Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Each of the comfortable rooms is spacious and spotlessly clean, with a large en-suite bathroom. Your room comes with air conditioning and satellite TV. Your balcony has a table and chairs; ideal for a pre-dinner drink, overlooking the main street of Sorrento. hotel location is fabulous. close to old town, to marina and train station. staff, including hotel manager, were very helpful and supportive with all our tasks, they organized a festive cake and prosecco for our anniversary. most of the hotel breakfast ingredients are local. rooms are very comfy and clean. a major plus for the windows, don't know who is the producer, but they insulated the room very well, considering noise and activity on the min street. maybe a little pricy, but this is the standard price for Sorrento and having all the above.

Croissants & pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice, water & coffee.... just perfect.

The room had the most comfortable bed and pillows iv ever experienced in any hotel. The view from the balcony was fabulous. Very near to Sorrento centre. 5 minute walk. Thankyou for the best stay. 👌
