At first I was bummed we were so far from the town, but in the end I enjoyed the peace and quiet after long days of touring with crowds. The hotel offers free shuttle rides to and from the village which made the hotel accessible. I would highly recommend this hotel!

My room was spacious and warm. Food was a discovery and hearty, both breakfast and dinner. Emanuela's sweets were so tasty, and every night Flavio prepared different typical Ligurian food such as Cima alla Liguria. One night he kindly offered SUSHI for me coming from Japan! While meat based main plate following pasta is their standard, he cooked rice, some fish with NORI (seaweed), GOMA (sesame) and soy sauce. Such efforts! I don’t have a car. So, they kindly picked me up at Bordighera and brought me back there despite their heavy schedule such as honey auction, administrative works and among others a birthday party for their fairy-like daughter Nicole. Staying for a while at an Italian agriturismo was my old dream and Flavio’s family made my dream indeed unforgettable.
