Elizabeth was a great host; she provided a home-cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients from Monaghan, which was fantastic. The rooms were cute and cozy. The bathroom was large, and the shower was very friendly, with excellent water pressure. This was our first overnight stay in Ireland in a commercial, non-hotel environment. We didn't know what to expect from the B&B experience, and overall, it was great. Our host was very knowledgeable of things to do and places to stay in the other cities of Ireland we were traveling to.

Maureen is a perfect host, absolutely delightful and kind, she even suggested an activity for us for the morning. We loved our stay even if it was just for one night. Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. Gorgeous area and building, easily accessible, food was fantastic, very comfy beds, and the service was wonderful. Very cozy and lovely!
