Perfect stay for a 60th celebration in the hotel. The room was immaculate, cosy and had tea, coffee etc. Oliver was kind, helpful and sent on all required information prior to our stay. We called the owner because we didn't know how to lock the front door (lift up the handle) and he was lovely and friendly. Would recommend.

This was a really impressive hotel. Our room was very spacious, immaculately clean, and so comfortable. We ate dinner here as well and it was very nice. All the staff were lovely.

Just 500 metres North of Carlow in a quiet mature area (a 10-minute stroll), Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for touring the South-East of Ireland. I didn't partake in the breakfast. Everything is was FANTASTIC! And a special thank you to Tom for bringing my glasses to the train station.
