The Hostel is very well located in the center of the city. The transport system in Greece can be a bit confusing if its your first time. The staff was very supportive and informed us well in advance about the public transportation options to get to the hostel. Even though the last check-in time was 23:00, they waited for us until midnight as our bus was late and we got there at around 24:00. Next day after checkout they also kept our bags so we can explore the city and the monastries freely without any burden. We picked our bags in the evening before going to take the bus. There is a huge chilling area downstairs to hang around. The staff was very supportive throughout our stay and we were very happy with our stay. :-)

Our room was fabulous with so many special details, the owners put a lot of thought into assuring the room was beautiful with all the things we would ever want. Our room had an amazing view both from the balcony and the windows when it was cooler at night, the pillars of Meterora were right there! It was super quiet. The hotel is in a great little village with wonderful tavernas easily within walking distance. The breakfast was great! The staff was so friendly and helpful and suggested the perfect day hike for us, especially since we could leave right from the hotel and hike to several of the monasteries on small paths through the woods. We think it is by far the best hotel in the Meteora area!!

We had a perfect stay! The rooms were absolutely beautiful – modern, new, and spotlessly clean. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The young woman at the reception was truly lovely – very kind and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Her warm welcome and assistance throughout our stay made a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kala Nera – we would definitely come back!
