There are some taverns and supermarket around. The view from the balcony is amazing! The room is comfortable and clean, equipped for making basic meals. It is a family-run place and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would love to come back here!

Everything was perfect, from the room to the excellent homonymous restaurant run by the same, really kind, owners. Christina kindly welcomed us and was very helpful in suggesting us some nice beaches around the area. Together with Konstantinos they were always willing to improve our stay at Sossinola if we needed something. The location is great to reach some of the most amazing beaches (such as Kokkinokastro), some of them being at a walking distance too (such as Glifa and Agios Petros). Concerning the room, it was great, with an amazing seaview, and perfectly cleaned. We ate at the restaurant three out of five nights we were there and tried several typical dishes, everything being excellent together with the great service from the owners, as well as Giorgios and the other waiters. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Sossinola and highly recommend it for staying in the beautiful island of Alonnisos!

I just finished an amazing solo trip to Alonissos, and staying at Ethra was the best decision I could have made. As a solo traveler, finding a place that feels safe and welcoming is so important, and this place was perfect. The location is ideal—it's super close to the beach for a morning swim but also an easy walk to the port and Votsi. I loved having my own balcony with that breathtaking sea view. The room itself had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean, but what truly made the stay was the owner, Giannis. He was so kind and genuinely cared that I had a good experience. I felt completely at home and well taken care of. I can't recommend Ethra enough.

Free private parking is available and the guest house also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Lokation of this hotel is very convenient. On foot you are in 10-15 minutes at port. But here you have almost private and very nice beach with cristal clear water, ideal for swimming. The place is calm, so you can sleep without the noice from bars... The lady owner is very nice. She upgraded us the room for free, so we had a very practical and comfortable siute with direct access to the beach. The room looked like a new one, with very pleasant shade in front of. In the end she gave us free transfer to the port. We did not have breakfast, but there are restaurants just next door that served very good breakfast, or you can go to local bar -bakery which was also very good - up to 10 minutes walk. We rented s car for a day at Alonissos travel and I can only recommend them.
