The commercial district is 40 minutes away by car. There are pools right outside your room open all the time. The staff is extremely attentive. Services at the spa are well worth it. On this visit due to a mechanical the morning flight never left Cuenca so I arrived after reception should have been closed. I had called ahead and was told the guard would have my key but in fact reception remained open waiting for me to arrive.

Our daughters loved swimming in the river in the afternoons. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The owners, Anna and her husband, were on top of everything and made sure everyone was comfortable! Very helpful for us was that there's a dedicated kitchen for guest use!
