The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. We loved that it was on a farm. It was a beautiful location about 40mins outside La Fortuna proper. You need a vehicle to get around. On the property there are horses, peacocks, miniature horses and even a beautiful water buffalo! The room was comfortable and the service was so hospitable and warm! DEFINITELY worth staying there!

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This was probably my favorite part of Costa Rica Trip! It was so surreal to spend some time disconnected and surrounded by such beautiful nature. Loved all the trails, but sandaderos in bosque la tigra was my favorite. It’s a primary and secondary rainforest property they have nearby and you can visit it for a small fee. I saw there more wildlife by myself than in any other forests walking with a guide. I did a night tour and we walked around the property, not even rainforest further out, and saw 3 snakes within the first 5minutes, so many frogs and other insects, and the guide was very knowledgable. I also planted a tree there and it was a really beautiful experience of giving back to the nature and community. Overall service is 10/10, always with a smile, always asking a question or two. No connection at all anywhere except the reception, but wifi there is stronger than in most coworkings I have visited here in Costa Rica. The only thing that was challenging for me personally and I have not seen it mentioned in the comments is if you sometimes get car sick, a road to the property will make you car sick, so please have some medicine handy. But it’s the entire area around that is like this, so just accepting it as part of adventure. I recommend staying for 2-3 nights and spending it in the lodge area enjoying the nature, the best disconnection and reconnection with the self “retreat” 🤭

The rooms were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. A big thank you to the ladies who cleaned the rooms — they were kind, efficient, and always had a smile on their faces. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. A special mention must go to Fabricio at reception, who was without a doubt the best receptionist we've ever met. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, helping with everything from local tips to making sure our needs were met. His professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Everybody was very nice. A paradise big garden with the view of animals and lots of different birds, beautiful flowers and trees and a walking trail to go around . We enjoyed a nice pool an jacuzzi. We liked our room with comfy beds and a nice terrace with views. We would like to come again! We highly recommend!
