The location is just on the edge of town, less than 10min walk from all amenities in La Fortuna, but at the same time the rooms actually overlook the forest - there were toucans and other birds just outside our room in the mornings! The staff we had contact with all made a big effort to give us all the info we needed - we had a lot of questions and they had a lot of patience with us, and helped us take full advantage of our stay in and around La Fortuna. We would like to make special mention of Armando, the hotel guide, who took us looking for sloths and also showed us some amazing frogs just behind the hotel at night - we highly recommend going on a sloth walk with him. As for the hotel itself, the room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was excellent and all in all we really couldn't recommend this place enough.

The place is quite far from the touristy La Fortuna and it is perfect to enjoy the peaceful nature. It is like living in paradise. All the details were well thought of. Beautiful location, very near to the volcano so we had amazing view. A bit out of busy La Fortuna but still there were shops and restaurants, it was more quiet and I love that. The garden was very pretty and full of birds, though I liked more wild gardens than so well organized ;). The room and bathroom were huge and very comfy. Strong wifi. Very friendly staff. Nice jaccuzzi :).
