Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Can't wait to go back!

Situated in Arutanga, within 1.6 km of Aitutaki Beach, Paparei Beachfront Bungalows, Aitutaki offers accommodation with air conditioning. This villa features free private parking and free shuttle service. The property offers car hire and features a garden and barbecue. Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Each air-conditioned bungalow is situated only 20 metres from the water and are fully insect screened. All offer a fully equipped kitchen, a living area and a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are provided. amazing location on a small private beach with kayaks and coconut trees. amazing value for money. The apartments look much better than on the pictures.

Guests enjoy free use of kayaks and snorkelling equipment and a free tropical breakfast daily. We stayed in Villa 100 , on beachfront which we were so impressed with. It was huge !. Had its own private entrance onto beach right by lagoon , a front open lounge / dining area with roof , that looked out on stunning views of lagoon and beach : no other thatched cottages/ villas either side , so very private. Next to pool . Kitchenette area was well stocked with coffee machine , fridge , freezer , electric plug in hob , basic kitchen equipment. Bedroom was huge , with great air con and also ceiling fans , with very large double shower ensuite and separate toilet. The ambience of the resort is very friendly , all staff in restaurant were lovely . Food is exceptional at night and at breakfast. Options to walk down beach from here to other resort bars if needed. Their Cultural Island Feast with dancing performance & music was incredible . A huge buffet to help yourself from and live music , Polynesian local dancing. We loved staying at Tamaru . The Manager checked on everyone staying which was great customer service. Highly recommend this place .

The property is non-smoking and is located 700 metres from Aitutaki Beach. Thankful to have stayed at Sharnta’s place. We were met at RAR airport to have an orientation and payed. Clean & new place, had all the kitchen equipment, and all the necessities like oil, milk ect. Was so lovely having the balcony with the table to have breakfast. Good having the washing machine and aircon! Good location, 2 mins from a 24/7 supermarket and the beach is just across the road. Private with a lovely outlook to the mountain. We would have loved to stay longer if it wasn’t booked out, but We will be back!

Amazing newly renovated bungalows right on the beach. Whale watching from the shore. Everything i wanted and away from everybody else but close enough to get into town easily. Maggie the host was super helpful and met us at the airport, arranged a motor scooter for us and then dropped us back at the airport.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. The accommodation is non-smoking. The host was extremely friendly and caring. House was new, clean and comfortable. Place was easy to find although best to have a rental car for convenience of traveling. Fridge was spacious and large.
