When traveling in Oman, it is necessary to visit the desert and stay for at least one night. It's hard to imagine a more authentic place than this campsite. Stunning images for a European :) impossible to describe! But separately, we want to write about Ali and Miriam hospitality, from meeting to saying goodbye, you feel cared for and welcome. You will be greeted in a town not far from the desert, escorted, offered entertainment, arranged dinner and lit a bonfire, and in the morning from sunrise they will be ready again!!! Thank you dear ones!!

The staff is really friendly and everything is very quite and calm. We stayed two nights and I really enjoyed sleeping in the nice tent and looking and the star at night. The food was very good and they made different stuff for us who stayed more nights and helped us with vegetarian options. For those who said there are mice.. It is nature! We are in their home and you should appreciate them. There are desert mice, a very clean and intelligent animal. I appreciate the staff protects them. So please continue to respect wildlife! It seems to me that the camels are also well treated. We went to visit a beduin house, it was a beautiful experience and they welcomed us in their home with delicious sweet food.

The location was perfect as we couldn’t see anything in a distance. Despite being a tent, the facilities were like and just like a hotel room with a bed, coffee machine, bathroom and shower. Outside there was a swing and several places to lounge or have meals. The owner took us dune bashing which was so much fun !

    The camp and the communication (email and whatsapp) was excellent. I would recommend driving to Bidiya and parking a rental car and getting the escort service to the camp. The Ameer tent is amazing and comfortable, the staff promptly took care of an insect situation which arose and allowed us use of another room if required which was a great gesture. The food is exceptional especially the buffet dinner which is a very high standard. Stargazing in the night was also a welcomed surprise.
