I love this place ... very warm welcome, great views ... NOTHING to complain about as long as you are aware, that there is no infrastructure such as restaurants, shops, etc in walking distance. Very quiet (except the ocean) place to find your inner peace!

Both Ton and Larissa were superb hosts. We are really touched to see how thoughtful the hosts were. It was raining before the breakfast time and we found an umbrella placed for us right in front of the door! We travelled first time with our toddler. The place and hosts make our stay both memorable and comfortable. Larissa is an amazing cook. Even our wee boy liked her Ukrainian dumplings thoroughly :). Room was warm and cozy with splendid view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the breakfast which showcased Tuatapere honey otherwise was a typical continental breakfast presented well. Tuatapere is a small town so location was fine. Gail was an excellent host and made you feel very at home. She was so helpful (boiling eggs for me and also providing us with an extra room to sort out our luggage and giving us more information about our walk). The private bathroom was appreciated.

Tui Base Camp is set in Tuatapere and has a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a children's playground.

Amazing place to stay just where the Humpridge Track starts. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Nice coffee. We also got some pizzas and amazing showers after the trail. They allowed us to charge our EV for an extra fee, which was super convenient for us. We will definitely come back

Everything was amazing. So peaceful and pretty. The accommodation was well presented and warm and inviting. Home made banana cake greeted us too. Extra items in the bathroom were a nice touch.
