A beautiful hotel with very friendly owners and staff. It is part of a very interesting community project also including design clothing production, a school, and organic farming. We had a few very good days staying in a beautiful calm area. The hike up to the mountain from 1800m to 2400m is a must-do. Food served at the restaurant is from local organic products and is just excellent.

Namaste. To all at Rest Up Kathmandu Hostel. A beautiful, relaxing,respectful, safe, warm, and friendly feeling among all the interesting staff. The water is hot, cleaning standard very high. Everything is so Shanti and kind. The guests have all been interesting with a community feel. To say I highly recommend it is not enough. I am loving my experience at this hostel. The location perfect. Come and tell your interesting adventure travel experiences to people, fellow travellers, who are genuinely interested, supportive and get buzzed up with it. Or just take yourself into contemplation, meditation or read your phone, the WiFi is super strong. I look forward to spending more time here. Approach Kathmandu with a Shanti Shanti. Slowly frame of mind Plenty of adventures to be had. Enjoy.

Oasis Hotel is at the Kantipath entrance to Thamel, next door to the Garden of Dreams, two minutes walk from Himalayan Java coffee house and Fire & Ice pizzeria, and just metres from the new Chhaya Centre. There are also lovely restaurants, spas and minimart next door. Rooms are spacious, with good natural light and ours included a fridge which was a bonus. The bathroom shower was hot with strong pressure. The hotel has its own small Cafe and offers indoor and outdoor dining, although we only ate breakfast there. The complimentary breakfast buffet was reasonable. What really puts Oasis above other mid-range hotels is its customer service. The staff, especially the manager, are very invested in making sure you are happy and having the best experience possible! Nothing was too much of a problem, and our requests were attended to very promptly. Their complimentary pickup service from the airport was an added bonus.

Superb location in a very quiet alley close to a very big tree . Very well ventilated rooms and breakfast has lots of varieties..it is almost like brunch and is served from 7 am to 10 AM . Presence of owner Mr. Raj and his brother Mr. Rajendra on the property gives personal touch Both the brothers are very friendly and helpful to take care of your travel needs and money exchange.with good rates .
