I had a wonderful stay at Divine Kathmandu Hotel, located conveniently in the heart of the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities, including a cozy bed and a well-maintained bathroom. One of the highlights was the hotel’s breakfast buffet, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The ambiance of the hotel was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing retreat. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, Divine Kathmandu Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back!

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Rest Up. Although sharing a 12-bed dorm never sounds like the most ideal, it was a really good experience, I had really lovely roommates and made some great friends in the whole hostel. Everyone is so friendly, including the staff, the whole place has a homely feel to it with plenty of space to sit on your own or sit with others. They also have a kitchen where you can pay for meals, the food’s really good and they also have a fridge with beer and water when you fancy a drink.

Oasis Hotel is at the Kantipath entrance to Thamel, next door to the Garden of Dreams, two minutes walk from Himalayan Java coffee house and Fire & Ice pizzeria, and just metres from the new Chhaya Centre. There are also lovely restaurants, spas and minimart next door. Rooms are spacious, with good natural light and ours included a fridge which was a bonus. The bathroom shower was hot with strong pressure. The hotel has its own small Cafe and offers indoor and outdoor dining, although we only ate breakfast there. The complimentary breakfast buffet was reasonable. What really puts Oasis above other mid-range hotels is its customer service. The staff, especially the manager, are very invested in making sure you are happy and having the best experience possible! Nothing was too much of a problem, and our requests were attended to very promptly. Their complimentary pickup service from the airport was an added bonus.

    The best place to book if you arrive late or have an early morning flight. It is the closest hotel to the airport, just a short walk (only crossing a parking lot, not a busy street). The staff were very attentive and helpful and even upgraded my room for free!

    During a motorcycle tour across Nepal my partner and I visited Sagarmatha View Homes. I highly recommend this accommodation, the room was well furnished and clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Our hosts were also wonderful and helpful people, and we were happy with the safe and secure parking for our motorcycles. The location was also good for us; it is very close to the Boudhanath Stupa and a variety of nice restaurants, yet the area was more quiet and calm than other areas.

    I stayed at this hotel since it is literally in the airport premises. You can walk straight out of the international terminal, through the parking lot, and to the hotel. it is not visible from the airport, mind you, but it is a walkable distance for sure. There are a bunch of cafes in the same building as the hotel, and you're going to need it during your stay. I didn't much like this hotel, but on the plus side, the staff was very pleasant.
