Everything was perfect. The best is the staff (always smiling and making sure you are ok and offering help) We had a beachfront room, so we were literally 3 meters away from the sand and the views were breathtaking. Food was really good. We had a half board booking. Breakfast is basically buffet and for the dinner there is a selection of plates which are included in the half board but you can choose different options (extra payment) but the options included in the half board were really good. The bar at the pool is an excellent option to have lunch or simply having a drink. Thierry (the beach boy) is really professional, always smiling and helpful making sure we were enjoying our time. Housekeeper (Kabi) made sure we were ok at the room every day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! My partner has gluten allergy and they always prepared for him something glutenfree (like pizza, pasta, bread, pancake etc.) and also helped him what can he eat from the menu. The food was very delicious and you can choose from wide selection, and try the local food, too. The location and the beach are just perfect, even if you just want to relax or try some watersport. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable, with a nice view to the ocean. Overall we had a very great time here, I would recommend it to everyone.

Shanti Nivas is the place in Mauritius. A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

I recommend to every one Casa Frangipani. Kerstin and her husband are very welcoming. We stayed only two night, but we couldn’t ask for more! The apartment is clean and all what you need. They are so kind that they suggest you what to visit and where to eat and for sure they help you in anything you need! Just awesome experience

The property is located in a great spot- it is incredibly comfortable and the host Annalisa really is fantastic; she gave us the best advice on local food spots, getting taxis and even hiring a car! I definitely would recommend staying at La Maison soleil as it is a gem on the east coast of Mauritius!

The most beautiful experience I had so far. Now I understand why people pay the buck for the resorts like this. If you haven't tried spending your vacation in a luxurious resort, then try it and you will understand. One of the most beautiful coastlines in Mauritius, the oceanfront suite was just superb. Waking up to that beautiful sunrise and walking to a balcony looking at the postcard view, it's just mind-blowing. The staff is so polite. You even have your own butler :) wow. He's coming to your door at lunch and evening, asking if everything is all right and helping you with anything. The colonial-style architecture is just so cool. Loved every minute of the stay. It was actually the last 1 week of our 3-week vacation in Mauritius, and it was the best decision to leave it at the end of the vacation. We even took a 1,5 hour massage treatment from the spa area after the check-out, before driving to the airport :)
