Beautiful boutique hotel. The restoration of the building was exquisite. At a walking distance from Mdina and St. Paul Catacombs. Rabat, where the hotel is located, is a very nice city, with good restaurants and elegant buildings.

We had a fantastic stay at AX Hotel in Rabat, Malta. The healthy breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh options that set us up perfectly for the day. The gym and wellness area were a big plus, modern and well-equipped. What really stood out was the super friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location is excellent – just a short walk to the Medina – and the hotel even provided us with free bicycles, which we used for a memorable trip to the cliffs. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a perfect base to explore Malta.

Very good location (central of Rabat and central of Malta) becoming a good base point especially if you’re exploring Malta with the Bus services. Quiet and tucked away from busy tourist street despite being just a stone throw away. Facilities and kitchen essentials perfect for a week stay for two. A thoughtful consideration by the staff for providing enough towels and toiletries for the duration of our long stay.

It is a wonderful place to stay, the house is lovely, made us feel a part of Malta. Very clear entry instructions. Wonderful views, especially at night and the location basically in the hub of Rabat, very easy walk to M'dina and all the Rabat attractions.
