My wife and I booked this last minute as we were both ill on arrival to Sri Lanka and couldn't drive to Sigiriya as planned. The staff were amazing!! They really went above and beyond. They knocked on the door numerous times to check on us and bring us food and drinks. The room was great, and the setting was so peaceful and picturesque. Thank you so much for the staff ❤️

My stay at Iduwara Arana was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. An amazing location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, we loved the tranquil surroundings, the facilities of the hotel are amazing and the staff! Best food we have ever had here for dinner - try the vegetable kottu!

The property is set amongst a large farm, by a river, set back from the main road The pool was lovely and we were able to watch the birds & bats at sunset from the water and later see the fireflies over the lily pond! The hosts are very friendly, our first home stay experience and they even cooked an evening meal for us which was absolutely delicious - as was breakfast! Our first milk rice in Sri Lanka :) We unfortunately had to leave the following day due to our schedule and they helped us get our tuktuk going and helped me pick a few stones from our tyre tread :) We couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are passing through Kurunegala
