Really beautiful setting in the jungle, rooms felt traditional but spacious and luxurious, with windows overlooking the vegetation. Big comfortable bed. We were so well looked after, food was delicious healthy Sri Lankan food, they even made us a pack up for our sunrise hike up sigriya and the evening herbal teas were delicious. Pool practically private as only two other guests there, and you could spot sunbirds from the pool. We took a walk around the lake in the evenings, lots of great bird life and views over paddy fields. This place was our favourite on our visit and felt like a real hidden gem. Dinner $15 with plenty of food and fresh fruit, we didn’t go outside the property to eat but I doubt limited options.

We loved everything about this place. We booked the new family room with private pool. Its very generous in size, very clean and the pool is great. The room is perfectly equipped for a family stay.
