The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

The hotel has an amazing pool surrounded by nature and a very good view of the Lake. We had two times the dinner and breakfast, which was very tasty. The staff was also very friendly and did a good job. The best thing at our visit was the „monkey menace“ in the evening and in the morning. You should find out by yourself:)

The owner is very helpful and came to collect me with his tuk tuk for free. The place is very quite in the middle of nature, just 300m away from the Gal Vihara with its energetic presence. The owner offered me an half hour night walk which we couldn't do bc of the rain. Bicycles can be rent on place and I loved to cycle downtown along this beautiful road along the river. Room is big, high ceiling with fresh air. Not hot, very clean also the bathroom. Furniture is in good condition. Warm water works, mosquito net ok. WiFi broke when I was there because of the thunder, but the owner went to buy me recharge cards for my mobile data. Nice garden.

We just spent one night, but agreed we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very calm and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Everything was very clean and neat. The room we had next to the pool was very nice, and offered a nice little terace to relax on. We did not get a chance to jump in the pool, but it looked very good and the area arround it cozy with sunbeds and hammocks. The best about the place was definately the staff. Amazing service level and just so very, very nice people. If we are ever around in Polonnaruwa, we are returning here.

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. He tooked care of us and for everything that we needed, giving us recommendations, sharing with us delicious meals, inspiring conversations and moments that will remain with us forever. I had a wonderful stay at New Haven Polonnaruwa. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well-maintained — everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable. The surrounding atmosphere feels calm and relaxing, perfect for anyone visiting Polonnaruwa. The food was really tasty and freshly prepared, adding a homely touch to the experience. A special mention to the uncle who looks after the place — he was so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which truly made us feel at home. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and friendly place to stay in Polonnaruwa. I’d happily recommend it and would love to visit again!
