My favourite stay in Kyrgyzstan! The guesthouse is run by a lovely young family who invited me to dinner and booked an eagle hunting demonstration for me. The dorm is so comfortable, warm and sunny, with 2 balcony spaces to sit on - its like a private loft. There is only 4 beds and it's by far the best dorm in the country. The bathroom is clean and new downstairs. The guesthouse is 10 mins from the bus station and 500m away from the An An cafe, which does amazing cheesecake. As a solo female traveller I felt so looked after, and ended up extending my stay.

We had a great time at Ailuu. Our guests were very friendly and always available to help us. The view on the lake is amazing, the beach and the hiking points are easy to reach. Everything was clean, and we had great meals. Thanks a lot!

Everything was excellent. The cabins are just like pictures, nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom was the best on our trip. The host helped us a lot with organizing activities, all of the questions we had and she even let us wash our clothes (she didn’t change for that). The food was nice and we got breakfast in bed every morning. We booked only two nights, but when we realized we wanted one more night, she was flexible to let us stay. The kids were also super cute and friendly. I really recommend this place if you are in town!

Excellent central though quiet position. Very nice family of three generations. After breakfast I played some traditional games with sheep bones with the 10 year old boy of the owner. The boy speaks English amazingly well. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, decorated with traditional wallhangings and carpets. And they are heated as the nights get cold in October! Excellent restaurant in the park, 10 minutes walk away. Very efficient and friendly young guy leading the local CBT. At very short notice he made a mountain tour to a ruined Oirat buddhist site possible.
