The room size and cleaniness are fine, not a tiny room even for 1person room, the facilities and amenities are good as well. Breakfast was great if you are a westerner and like buffet style, with a choice of cooked or cereals. Toyama sits between the ocean and the Japanese alps, which were covered in snow when we were there.
