Lovely tatami room in a ryokan in Yufuin. The location is away from the main shopping and eating area, but has fantastic views of Mount Yufu from the garden, which also has a foot bath, and the room itself. Yufuin Station is not too far, but you can take a taxi and reimburse the fare. Breakfast was great and the onsen, which includes indoor and outdoor baths with views of Mount Yufu, are also excellent.

Just such an amazing place! The staff was friendly and kind, the room was beautiful, sleeping on futons was really great, the breakfast was just so delicious, and onsen was so relaxing.

Very beautiful place, room is spacious with hotspring bath in the bathroom, staff is friendly as well. There are 2 big open-air private hotspring baths and a foot-bath on the rooftop, there is a free-flow of beer distributor at the lobby. The ryokan is just right opposite the old town, and within a kilometer walk to restaurants in the main street, it's very convenient, we love it!

Lovely quiet location close to Ufuin Floral Village. Entire small house with everything you need. Owners friendly and very kind, many free snacks and each morning they bring sandwiches for breakfast. We hope we can come again.
