Imagine waking up with a full view of Mt Fuji! This is exactly what you get here. Fantastic place, super spacious, nice details and really private. You will need a car to get there. We arrived after dark and the place had all the lights on, so it was easy to get in. It would have been nice if the hot water had been turned on already, as it was a little complicated as a non-Japanese speaker to work it out - but we got there with help from Google.

Our host (Toru) went above and beyond, picking us up from the station as our bus came in late, taking us to the grocery store as we arrived on a public holiday and nothing was open, spending lots of time showing us around our accomodation and the sights of the local area. We loved the authentic Japanese style of the house and so close to Mt Fuji and the local sights nearby. A lovely experience and a lovely host.

With a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji on our private rooftop terrace, we spent most of our time up there. You get a panoramic view of the entire mountain. The villa itself was big, clean and well equiped. Even came with it's private cinema. We were only two people, but this would be absolutely perfect for larger groups as well.
