It was a really nice place, with really nice staff, and an really good atmosphere. Even though we got a no cleaning service room, the hotel overall was always kept clean. The location was also perfect for exploring both Nara as well as several smaller cities and areas around Nara.

From the moment we arrived we loved the hotel. In the heart of Nara, only a stone's throw away from the deer park. The hotwl was clean, staff were so accommodating, and the advice they gave us on Nara was second to none. The private bath was such a lovely touch in the evening. The perfect ryokan stay.ake sure to watch sunset from the rooftop!

A great ryokan with wonderful staff. Great stay for tourists near the Nara park. Nice views from the terrace, very comfortable room, a spa bath, massage chair, vending machines, restaurant and other quality of life upgrades. I highly recommend to stay there and enjoy Nara in the evening, after most of the tourists leaves the park. And once again - wonderful staff.

    The lady was so nice to greeting us. The traditional breakfast was so pretty. They didn't have a parking space but provided us a private parking lot and paid for us. The location was great for sightseeing on foot, we didn't have to drive.

    There is a local farmers market just across the parking lot from this hotel, it was fun to pick up local souvenirs and snacks on our way out. Hot springs within the hotel was wonderful.

    The location was good, close to train station and convenience store. We stayed for a night so we don’t have any complaints. There are many parking lots close to the hotel. Its close to Nara park as well.

    The hotel is located very close to Nara park. It also has a parking lot. The room is nice and tradition. The staff also come and prepare futon bed for you. You also have option for a room with outdoor bath which is nice (except that the hotel is actually not that high and it situated between other houses so you can see the roof of other when looking out standing). Otherwise, it's nice option for onzen. They also have shared onzen.
